Book Fair/Family Reading Night

The Book Fair will be running from Wednesday, February 27, to Wednesday, March 6. Student Shop day is March 4. The online portion of the book fair will run until March 22. To see more information about Book Fair hours and other information, click here. If the money raised exceeds $200 for part of the "All For One" books program, Mr. Yoder will dress up as a dinosaur and do the "Dinosaur Dance." Money collected will go towards purchasing books from the fair for our school.

Family Reading Night will be on Tuesday, March 5, from 6:15 until 8:30. Join us for stories, laughs, prizes, and family fun! Guests include 5th graders, HES Staff, and the well-known band "Staff Infection!" Wendy's night will also be on March 5 from 4-7, and 20% of the sales will be given to the HES Library.

HES Construction Route

When picking up or dropping off your children at HES,

  1. From "D" Street
  2. Go north on Prairie Pointe one block,
  3. then west on "C" Street to Eisenhower to HES.
    "C" Street between Wilson and Eisenhower will be closed to traffic.


After children are picked up:

  1. Turn right onto "A" Street and continue past Eisenhower and Kennedy.


NO TRAFFIC can go south on Eisenhower or Kennedy. This is in effect until November 2.
There will be equipment at the corner of "C" and Eisenhower, so proceed carefully.
