Financial contributions to TAPP still accepted!

The TAPP committees are finalizing plans for the annual Trojan After Prom Party, a safe and alcohol/drug-free event attended by most Hillsboro High School juniors and seniors. TAPP 2008 will be held April 19 at The Alley, a bowling alley in Wichita that has go-carts, an arcade and billiards. We have rented inflatables and will serve refreshments and draw for prizes.
In the past, about half of TAPP’s income came from two fundraiser meals. Donations from generous community businesses provided the remainder of our income. Our goal this year is to reduce TAPP’s financial dependence on local businesses.
Finding fundraisers that don’t require a ton of work on the part of lots of people and that result in a significant income is always a challenge. This year TAPP hosted the Homecoming tailgate party, raffled off a HHS t-shirt quilt, served a soup and pie supper before a basketball game and sold Schwan's food products.
As we discussed additional fundraising options, we decided that most parents would rather make a financial contribution than commit to doing another fundraiser. So we are suggesting that parents contribute $10; however any amount is greatly appreciated.
