Governor Kelly announced Tuesday afternoon that she would be closing Kansas school buildings for the remainder of the school year. The Kansas State Department of Education and a core group of educators from across the state have developed an education plan to help with continued learning of your children for the remainder of the school year. Things to remember concerning the next two weeks, March 23 – 27, and March 30 – April 3, 2020 • There will be no school the week of March 23 – 27, 2020. • Administrators and teaching staff will be working on an education plan next week (March 23 – 27, 2020) for the remainder of the school year. • More information will be provided as it becomes available. • Education services will resume on Monday, March 30, 2020, and may include one or more of the following delivery methods: educational packets, online assignments, small group (10 or less) face-to-face meetings with teacher.
