On February 16, junior girls Zaylee Werth, Violet Klein, Annaliese Jorgenson, Savannah Shahan, Anslee Brewer, Bailee Gawith, and Grace Hein, (pictured above) attended Sonia Kovalevsky math day at Emporia State University. They heard from women working in various mathematics fields, attended workshops connecting math and chemistry, and worked with code-breaking, and other activities. They received a certificate of attendance after attending this special event.
