The Hillsboro Middle School students have clubs going on all year long. The kids look forward to these days every year. They have 6 clubs they are allowed to choose from at the start of each semester, here is what they got to choose from this semester: Dutch Blitz - Mrs. Kroeker; students get to learn how to play Dutch Blitz and Nertz, Hunter Safety - Mr. Clements, Mrs. Janzen; students learn information and take the final test for a Kansas Hunter Safety License, Archery - Mr. Oelke; students learn about archery but can only join if they have their Kansas Hunter Safety License, Community Service - Mrs. Cassidy; students visit Parkside Homes, Hillsboro Elementary, and the library to volunteer with the people there, Creative Writing - Mrs. Melton; students write creative stories and read them to each other, Disc Golf - Mr. Kroeker; students play disc golf on the Hillsboro Course. They will have 6 new clubs to choose from at the start of the next semester.
