The Lady Trojans started off strong against their opponents for sub state this week. They began sub state play with a 19-1 record as well as ranked #1 in 2A sub state. In the first round of sub state play the Lady Trojans faced off against the Marion Warriors walking away with another win. The girls defeated the Inman Teutons in the semi-finals and defeated the Moundridge Wildcats in the finals on Saturday March 2nd to advance to state. On March 6th the girls played Wichita Independent in Dodge City. The girls were matched up against the Panthers of The Independent School, and fell short in the first round of state. This concluded the 2023-2024 women’s basketball season. They finished the season with a 22-2 record. Congratulations on a great season!
The Trojan boys had a close game but pulled through against the Berean Warriors in the first round of sub-state play. The boys entered sub state play with a record of 12-8 as well as ranked #4 in the Marion 2A sub state. The boys faced off against Moundridge Wildcats on Friday March 1 in the semi-finals, but fell short to compete in the championship game. They finished the 2023-2024 boys basketball season with a record of 13-9. Congratulations to the boys on a successful season.
