Mackenzie D'Albini and Aaron Hein

Hillsboro High School is excited to recognize Mackenzie D’Albini and Aaron Hein as our Students of the Month for October! Both of these outstanding students have shown dedication in the classroom, leadership in activities, and a positive influence on their peers.

Mackenzie D’Albini is the daughter of Dan D’Albini, Elizabeth Maddux, and Corey Maddux. She is a junior who shines both academically and athletically. Mackenzie’s favorite subjects are history and English, and she keeps busy as a member of the volleyball, basketball, and track teams, as well as SALT. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and staying active. A fun fact about Mackenzie is that she has traveled abroad, visiting Windsor Castle in England and spending time in Ireland!

Aaron Hein, son of Andrew and Sarah Hein, is a senior at Hillsboro. His favorite class is English 4, and when he isn’t in the classroom, Aaron can be found working out or playing games with friends. He is a multi-sport athlete, participating in football, wrestling, track and field, and powerlifting. An interesting fact about Aaron is that he knows morse code for the letter “I”!

We are proud of both Mackenzie and Aaron for their achievements and the positive energy they bring to Hillsboro High School. Congratulations to our October Students of the Month!
