On Oct 29, the 4th Grade classes held a wax museum for parents to come and interact. During this wax museum, instead of using real wax, the students dressed up as a celebrity or historical figure of their choice. While the kids were dressed up, they would start telling the watcher the biography or autobiography of their celebrity's life. A big red button had to be pressed to be able to hear it, though, and when the children were not performing, they would remain still, imitating real wax figures. To prepare for the project, the students took research notes, created timelines of important life events, designed a poster, made a slide show, and wrote a first-person speech. The students had a full 9 weeks to prepare and work on this project.
