Jaeten Loewen and Summer Dalke are Hillsboro's students of the month.
Jaeten, a senior, is the son of Jeremy and Dionne Loewen. His favorite subject is woodworking, and his hobbies include sports, hunting, riding four-wheelers, and working on old trucks. He stays active in football, basketball, baseball, SNC, FFA, the school musical, and his youth group. An interesting fact about Jaeten is that he can ride a unicycle.
Summer Dalke, a freshman, is the daughter of Ben and Holly Dalke. Her favorite subject is English, and she enjoys baking, walking, and crocheting. She is involved in tennis, GAP, StuCo, FFA, Scholars Bowl, the musical set crew, and Parkview MBY. A fun fact about Summer is that she has crocheted her own sweater.
