Students from Mr. North's calculus class and Mrs. Hein's College Algebra attended the Donald L. Bruyr Mathematics Day Competition on the campus of Emporia State University. Sixteen of our students competed in either team competitions or individual competitions. A total of 39 schools (20 in our division) attended the competition. Our top-placing students included:
Lyle Fickes- 13th place in Geometry Individual
Violet Klein- 15th in Algebra Individual
Deon Weeks, Christopher Bibens, and Zachary Denholm- 6th place in Geometry Team
Keeley Brewer, Kirsten Kluver, and Karley Loewen- 6th place in Math Scramble Team
