Claire and Brooklyn ended up winning their final doubles match of the day to place third at regionals. They will advance to State in Salina next Friday. Congratulations!
Towards the end of the 4th quarter Hillsboro scores twice. Once on a Haslett 3 yd run with a conversion pass to Regier. then again on a 12-yard pass from Haslett to Regier followed by a Gooch PAT run.

Maylee and Abby battled the top seed but fell just short. They will go to the consolation bracket and play their next match in hopes of qualifying for state.
Claire and Brooklyn advance to the semifinals at the girls tennis regional in Topeka. They are state-bound and will now play for one of the top four spots.

A lot of PR's at the Sterling Cross Country meet today. The Hillsboro girls team finished third with Richert-3, Funk-5, and Frantz-12 all medaling.
The Hillsboro Trojan Invitational is this Saturday, Oct 11. Matches begin at 9:00 am with 3 state ranked teams competing: Rock Creek-4A-#5, Halstead-3A-#3, Hillsboro 2A-#2.
